30s sheer organza dress

30s sheer organza dress

Incredible 1930s embroidered organza dress with matching skirt that can be worn together or separately. This beauty is in amazing condition for its age. There are a few pin holes throughout, but nothing noticeable. Both the dress and the skirt have beautiful and delicate embroidery. Since this dress is a 1930s piece, the side zipper was probably added at a later date. It is a metal zip. For the skirt, it would be very easy to adjust the waist size by moving the hook and eye placement.
(Please note: white ribbon is not included in the purchase.)

Calliope Vintage Boutique sells pre-loved vintage clothing, accessories, costume jewelry and handbags. Naturally, most of these items have been worn before, some that date back to the 1920s and will show signs of maturity and age. However, I will only sell pieces that are still wearable to date, but they may have some minor flaws that will be noted in the description and/or photos.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder, so that being said...
In order to give you 100% satisfaction with your purchase, I ask that you contact me before your purchase if you have any questions regarding the condition, sizing, or any other concerns with the pieces in my shop. I look over each piece carefully and try to describe each of them to the best of my ability. If you see any issues with the garment, please contact me within 3 days of receiving the item so that I can address it personally.
